Lochnagar Sunrise Camp
As the nights get shorter and the days longer it’s time to get ready to climb lochnagar, camp just short of the summit and then get out of the tent just before dawn to go see the sun rise from the top of the north east of Scotland!
Ably led and escorted by the club’s senior mountaineer, Willie Bain, this is the annual not to be missed high mountain camping trip.
Provisionally we aim to meet up on the Friday evening and stay at the bothy on Loch Muick. Saturday will see a leisurely trip to the usual camping spot ten minutes from the summit.
If you are thinking of coming along please let me know and we can take it from there!
